Special properties of concrete manufactured using this cement
- Concrete requiring lower heat of hydration
- High strength for up to 28 days.
- Wide range of uses and good performance even in moderately aggressive environments.
- High workability
- Particularly suitable for XC Exposure Classes
Recommended uses
- Reinforced concrete indistinctly indicated for all resistance classes, with advantage given to those from C20/25 to C40/50.
- Prefabrication of masonry blocks and domes in lightweight concrete artefacts.
- Base and sub-base layers for road pavement in poor concrete Soil cement Wear layers
- Simple concrete for general use and injection syrups for general use
- Mass concrete
- All kinds of mortar
Environment and Safety
- Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves, and eye/face protection.
- The production of this cement accounts for a decrease in CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.
- For more information, consult the Safety Data Sheet, available at www.cimpor-portugal.pt
Precautions in application
- Respect the minimum cement dosages and the maximum normative water/cement ratios.
- Ensure an adequate cure and protection according to the normative provisions.
- Do not remove formwork or shoring before the concrete is sufficiently solid.
- For aggressive environments, follow the normative recommendations and technical texts on the subject strictly.
Contraindications
- Concrete requiring quick strength.
- Concrete under low temperatures.
